Rachael Atlee MSD

Rachael is an experienced technical leader with over 15 years of pharmaceutical experience. She creates high performing teams that deliver safe, right-first-time objectives, using lean, six sigma and quality by design principles. Her area of expertise includes technology transfer, parenteral processing, formulation, filling, lyophilization, visual inspection, extractable/ leachable, bulk vaccine processing, granulation & tablet compression and distribution testing. Prior to her position as director of External Manufacturing Technology Rachael gained experience as Associate Director External Manufacturing Technology, Sterile Operations Process Engineer and Vaccine Senior Manufacturing Supervisor at Merck. Before joining Merck Rachael has worked as a Package Development Laboratory Technician and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Supervisor at AstraZeneca. Rachael holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engeneering from the Drexel University in Philadelphia.
