Roman Goetzke, PhD PL BioScience

Dr. Roman Goetzke has studied Biotechnology at RWTH in Aachen and did his doctorate at the department of Stem Cell Biology and Cellular Engineering at the Helmholtz Institute in Aachen from 2015 to 2019. During his PhD, he specialized on the interaction of induced pluripotent stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells with soft hydrogels, such as human platelet lysate gel. From 2019 to 2021, during his Postdoc, he studied the self-organization during differentiation of pluripotent stem cells. Since 2021 he works as Scientist at PL BioScience in Aachen focusing on the development of a safe, viral-inactivated human platelet lysate.
