Rose LaRue-Slater Steri-Tek

Rose LaRue-Slater is currently the Director of Sales for Steri-Tek, LLC, a high-volume E-beam/Xray contract sterilizer and R&D innovation center. She has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Rose began her career in the lab, supporting EO sterilization Griffith Analytical Labs, and later held microbiological lab roles with Abbott Labs and The National Center for Food Safety and Technology (NCFST). Rose spent over 13 years in the contract sterilization industry with STERIS Isomedix Services, offering Gamma and E-beam radiation and Ethylene Oxide gas sterilization services to the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Food, and other industries. From there she spent nearly a decade in the pharmaceutical and biologics spaces at Charles River Labs, Microbial Solutions and at Roche Custom Biotech, before returning to the sterilization industry on the side of laboratory services. She joined Steri-Tek in February of 2024 and is excited to return to the radiation sterilization industry.
