Shawn Cain LSNE Contract Manufacturing

Shawn Cain is currently the Chief Operating Officer at LSNE, a pharmaceutical and medical device CDMO, acquired by Permira Funds in 2017. Mr. Cain has over thirty years of experience in combining process engineering and project management to direct the development and manufacture of sterile pharmaceuticals, cell-based biologics, and medical devices. Previously, Mr. Cain held leadership positions at Organogenesis, Becton Dickinson and another pharmaceutical CDMO. Before that, he was Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Arbios Systems, Inc. Mr. Cain holds six patents, received his Master's degree of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Northeastern University.
