Abstract
The Impact of COVID 19 on Supply Chain
Supply Chain planning requires a sharper focus on Business Continuity planning and Supplier Management program adaptability for COVID-era procurement of drug substance/drug product ingredients, components, storage, and transportation. Life science organizations must address balancing supply and demand in a highly volatile market made more complex by COVID-19.
This presentation will review the history of Supply Chain (and its journey from stock on hand to just-in-time and possibly back to stock on hand), take a look at COVID-sparked legislation that may impact Supply Chain in the future, identify current strategies for Supply Chain optimization and resiliency, and consider whether COVID 19 has changed Supply Chain forever.
