Luca Baraldi Ypsomed

Luca Baraldi holds a PhD in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. Before joining Ypsomed in 2008 as manager of the design verification laboratory, he spent 14 years in various high-tech and start-up companies as project manager and head of development and engineering. Luca has a broad technical experience from fields including polymer processing, semiconductor and optoelectronic packaging, laser development, 3D-MID and medical devices. After having implemented validated test methods at Ypsomed according to ISO 11608:2012 for needle-based injection systems for medical use, he most recently established methods for testing infusion systems according to IEC 60601-2-24 for medical electrical equipment.
