Renato Ravanello Genentech, Inc.

Renato Ravanello is an Associate Director, Device Process Engineering, at Genentech in South San Francisco, CA. Renato leads late stage development of new combinations products for clinical and commercial, focusing on design for manufacturability, commercial design verification, process development, and transfer to manufacturing.

Renato has been developing and commercializing combination products and medical devices for over 10 years, and has extensive experience in pre-filled syringes, needle safety devices, injector pens, patch injectors, and respiratory and transdermal drug delivery devices. He holds an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado (Boulder) and a Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy).
