PDA’s Technical Report No. 70: Fundamentals of Cleaning and Disinfection Programs for Aseptic Manufacturing Facilities provides insight into current industry trends and regulatory expectations concerning cleaning and disinfection of an aseptic facility. This training course, presented by one of the authors of TR-70, will highlight different aspects of the technical report and it relates to the warehouse to the filling line, focusing on the aseptic processing area. The training course covers the critical steps to developing and validating a complete contamination control program within controlled and non-controlled environments. While sterile product manufacturing requires the most stringent application, the concepts introduced during the training course can also be used to design a program for the manufacture of non-sterile products.
