There is very little guidance for end users on methods to use for disinfectant efficacy studies. End users may turn to in-country methods (EN, AOAC, ASTM) for disinfectant registration. However, these methods are not designed for cleanroom application. The regulatory expectations and guidance for customers on whether to use quantitative, globally recognized or harmonized methods will be discussed.
