Agnieszka Majcher-Dann, MD Johnson & Johnson

Agnieszka Majcher-Dann, MD joined Johnson and Johnson Consumer in 2008 as deputy Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) and subsequently was appointed QPPV Consumer and the Global Head of Consumer Medicinal Products Safety in 2010. In this role she leads the safety assessment and risk management group consisting of physicians and scientists and oversees all aspects of safety for consumer medicinal products. As QPPV, she is accountable for ensuring that there is a global pharmacovigilance system in place, implementing new PV legislation, and overseeing compliance for medicinal products. Agnieszka resides and works in the United Kingdom.

She previously held the position of global drug safety physician at Ipsen with global responsibility for a number of therapeutic areas. She was accountable for safety surveillance, aggregate reporting, risk management, labelling, clinical safety and safety elements of US BLA and MAA submissions. Prior to this, Agnieszka spent 14 years with AstraZeneca in a variety of marketing, clinical, and drug safety roles. During her time with AstraZeneca, she was a global drug safety physician for breast cancer compounds and led pharmacovigilance for these products, including their NDA and MAA submissions.

Agnieszka obtained a medical degree at the Medical Academy in Warsaw. She practiced at the Institute of Haematology as a physician and specialized in treatment of leukaemias, lymphomas and other myeloproliferative disorders.
