Albert Mihranyan, PhD Uppsala University, Sweden

Albert Mihranyan is Professor of Nanotechnology at the Department of Engineering Sciences, Uppsala University, Sweden, and Wallenberg Academy Fellow. He obtained his PhD degree in Pharmaceutics from Faculty of Pharmacy, Uppsala University in 2005.

His research covers a broad range of nanomaterials for applications in life sciences with strong focus on cellulosic nanomaterials for biomedical and pharmaceutical use. In particular, his group currently works on developing the world’s first non-woven virus removal size exclusion filter paper.
