Anna McLernon, PhD Johnson & Johnson

Anna’s career in J&J spans 30 years in Microbiology supporting Consumer, Pharma, & MD&D for applied research, product design and development, and microbial quality.  Anna McLernon joined Johnson & Johnson Sterility Assurance as Director Industrial Microbiology in 2013.  She is responsible for providing the overall direction of the Industrial Microbiology function globally within J&J. The group she leads supports microbiology research, new technologies, product/process development and facility control activities for Enterprise wide initiatives.  She chairs the Global Microbiology Council with representatives from all the sectors worldwide.  She is the GOLD Champion for JJSA, with three candidates rotating through assignments in JJSA Raritan, EES in Albuquerque & Ohio, and ASP in California. Anna has a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Upsala College, NJ.
