Elizabeth Moroney Bristol Meyers Squibb

Elizabeth Moroney is a Principal Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb, in the Microbiology Center of Excellence, where she has received numerous awards for Innovation, Urgency, Passion, and Accountability, while leading the container closure integrity testing (CCIT) program.  Before joining BMS, she was employed in a contract position performing CCIT and cleaning verification.  With a degree in chemistry from Rutgers, and experience in pharmacokinetic bioanalysis, consumer products and many analytical techniques, she was labeled the “Swiss army knife” in the group.  She hopes to continue adding analytical techniques to her “toolbox” and moving the science of container closure integrity testing forward.

When not working in the lab, she continues her experiments with growing plants, knitting, and cooking, where GxP rules don’t apply, and recipes are merely suggestions.
