Frederic Mathot, PhD GSK Vaccines

Frederic Mathot, Ph.D., Lead Scientist GSK Vaccines, has more than 10 years of experience in Drug Product development within R&D.

Frederic started his career at GSK Vaccines in Belgium as Scientist in charge of the formulation development of several vaccine candidates and, progressed in roles of increasing responsibility up to his current position as Head of a Drug Product development team in R&D.

Some of the vaccine candidates which he is/was accountable for target Human Papillomavirus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Dengue, Ebola and RSV.

Frederic graduated from the University of Louvain UCL, Belgium, with a BSc and MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Véronique Préat’s Department at UCL.
