Human Behavior Risks and Control

The need to reduce human error is apparent and is frequently discussed in our industry, but little has been presented regarding actionable control strategies and solutions. Through real industry occurrences, attendees will gain a perspective on how to identify and address gaps in an organization or specific work environment before behavioral issues occur. We will review behavioral quality issues by category, consider the initial perceived cause, then we'll go deeper into the factors that can lead to such behaviors. Finally, we will discuss elements of a behavioral risk control strategy for any quality-focused organization, providing a basic model to weigh the business case for making preventive improvements to their quality management.
