James Auger Pfizer

James Auger joined Pfizer in 2019 and is currently managing laboratory operations for the Analytical R&D (ARD) Microbiology Strategy and Testing (MST) group at Pfizer in Andover, MA. The MST group is responsible for microbiological testing and method development/qualification in support of clinical GMP Drug Product and Drug Substance manufacturing, including Environmental Monitoring. He operates as the Training Coordinator for MST, facilitating new hire onboarding and analyst development, and provides day-to-day laboratory technical leadership. James serves on several internal development teams including Pfizer’s global Alternative and Rapid Microbiological Methods (ARMM) group, the MST Microbiology Technology Team, and the ARD Curriculum Review Board. James holds a B.S in Natural Science from Worcester University with an emphasis on Microbiology and Environmental Design. Prior to joining Pfizer, he was employed in QC laboratories in Millipore, Genzyme, and Sanofi.
