Jonathan Campbell, PhD LGC Group

Jonathan obtained his Ph.D. from the IRC in Biomedical Materials at the Queen Mary University of London investigating the role of mechanics in controlling MSC osteochondral differentiation pathways, before taking up post-doctoral positions at both QMUL and Cambridge, optimizing biomaterial scaffold for tissue development and disease modeling applications. In his current role at the National Measurement Laboratory hosted at LGC, he is responsible for delivering cell measurement research projects and bespoke projects for a range of academic, industry, and government stakeholders, as well as inputting the strategic objectives at the NML. He is active on several UK and international standardization committees including CEN and ISO and is also the current Cell Analysis working group chair within the Consultative Committee for Substance (BIPM, Sevres Cedex, France).
