LCDR Keith Marin FDA

LCDR Keith Marin is an oncology nurse who joined the Food and Drug Administration in 2010. Prior to his work at the FDA, Keith was providing nursing care for patients undergoing clinical trials at the National Institutes of Health. He is a lead reviewer in the General Hospital Device branch and also serves as the combination product team leader. Keith obtained his nursing degree from Johns Hopkins University and his Masters of Nursing and Masters of Business Administration from University of Maryland and University of Baltimore. He is also certified as an oncology nurse (OCN®) and has his regulatory affairs certification (RAC®). Keith serves as a primary liaison for numerous international standards and was recently selected as the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation Co-Chair for ISO TC84: Devices for Administration of Medicinal Products and Catheters and ISO TC 76: Transfusion, Infusion and Injection, and Blood Processing Equipment for Medical and Pharmaceutical Use. Currently, Keith continues his work on combination product reviews while taking into account the clinical implications of these devices. Keith resides in Ellicott City, MD with his wife and two daughters.
