Lisa M. Skeens, PhD Hospira, Inc.

Dr. Lisa Skeens serves as the Vice President for the Global Regulatory Affairs organization.  She is responsible for providing strategic and operational director to the Global Regulatory Affairs organization. 

Prior to joining Hospira, Inc., Dr. Skeens was the Vice President for Global Regulatory Affairs, Renal and CMC, for Baxter Healthcare.  Over a 20 year career at Baxter, she held positions of increasing responsibility in Global Regulatory Affairs, including 8 years at the Global Vice President level, responsible for global regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical, medical device, and biologic development programs as well as life cycle management and compliance of marketed products.  Dr. Skeens also had responsibility for Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance in Canada. 

Lisa Skeens received her Masters and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northwestern University.  She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the College of Wooster.

Dr. Skeens currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Parenteral Drugs Association, and has served on numerous committees and conference planning committees.  She is a member of the AdvaMed Technology and Regulatory Committee.  Skeens is also a Board member of the District 128 Foundation for Learning.
