Lisa Smith Partner Therapeutics

Lisa is a Quality Risk Management (QRM) Leader with Partner Therapeutics, which specializes in biologic oncology drugs. Lisa has over 30 years of management experience in applying quality improvement tools, and most recently, Risk Management, in manufacturing and laboratory operations. She is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has led 100+ project teams in improving processes and reducing risks. Before joining Partner Therapeutics, Lisa was an Associate Director of Quality Risk Management and Measurements, at Dendreon in Seattle, and led the Operational Excellence Program at Biogen in RTP, NC. Lisa has also served in various roles with Pfizer-Vaccines (Wyeth) and Boeing. She has been instrumental in bringing many new products to market which have benefited patients around the world.

Also, Lisa is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a member of ASQ and the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA). She has been a guest instructor on the topic of quality inspection/sampling at the University of Washington’s Master of Science in Biomedical Regulatory Affairs program. Lisa has taught Project Management for the Biotech Certificate course at the University of Washington in collaboration with the University of California at San Diego. She has earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in Adult Education at University of Phoenix, and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certificate at North Carolina State University.
