Mateusz Landowski, PhD DPS Engineering

Mateusz Landowski is an honours graduate from the school of chemical engineering in Gdansk University of Technology where he obtained his Masters in chemical engineering.

Following on from his undergraduate degree, he moved to Ireland where he pursued a PhD in UCD’s School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering. His research focussed on the study of the drug release properties of hydrogel matrices.

After his PhD, he has worked for a number of internationally recognised engineering design consultancies, making use of an ever expanding range of modelling techniques including hydraulic analysis for fluid distribution networks, process simulation for distillation column design and solvent recovery systems, emergency relief system design, FEM analysis in Oil & Gas sector and entire facility design for pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production facilities. He is an advocate of using simulation and process modelling tools and he has a proven track record of using them to produce high quality, robust designs for his clients that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.
