Rob Weker MBA Weker Advisors

Rob Weker is a thirty-year healthcare executive. As a Vice President of Strategy and Operations in Research & Development, Rob led global multi-disciplinary breakthrough projects focused on business strategy, process integration and simplification. He is a proven, results oriented leader, applying continuous improvement methodology in delivering and embedding impactful business value. In addition, Rob is a three-time cancer survivor including pancreatic cancer and is focused on improving patient engagement throughout the development and delivery of healthcare.

As the Principal at Weker Advisors LLC, Rob provides a unique perspective based on his industry, patient, and continuous improvement experience. Mr. Weker provides patient insight and input in enhancing the patient experience focused on delivering affordable, accessible, innovative healthcare to all patients. Rob serves on patient boards at two pharmaceutical companies - GSK’s Oncology Patient Council and Incyte’s Patient Council. Additionally, Rob is a charter member of the Patient Advisory Board at Medifind, a website for patients to find medical care for rare and serious health conditions.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Cornell University and an MBA degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He publishes a blog on the patient journey – “Through the Patient Lens” and frequently authors articles and presents at conferences. He serves on the national patient advisory committee at the Canopy Cancer Collective - a pancreatic cancer learning network and the patient advisory board of Let’s Win Pancreatic Cancer. He is also a frequent patient contributor to the University of Pennsylvania’s Pancreatic Cancer Research Center. He is also a member of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Patient & Family Advisory Council.
