Scot Lindsey Eli Lilly and Company

Scot Lindsey is responsible for leading the information and digital strategy and execution for Lilly’s manufacturing and quality operations. Specific areas of focus are around digital plant transformation, advanced data sciences and analytics, IoT and plant-floor related technologies, and IT/OT cyber security. Prior to his current role at Lilly, Scot was the Chief Technology Officer responsible for positioning Lilly with the appropriate technical platforms and services to respond proactively to the evolving technology needs of the business and industry, as well as leading the technology direction for the enterprise and driving innovation into the operations. Scot came to Lilly in October 2019 with over twenty-five years of experience, the last fifteen of which have been serving in executive-level technology roles with Cardinal Health. Most recently, Scot served as Senior Vice President, IT Shared Services and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, Scot led several technology transformation projects, including an enterprise-wide cloud transformation program. As CISO, Scot was also responsible for ensuring that Cardinal Health's digital assets and critical IT capabilities were safeguarded from cyber security threats and compliant with regulatory requirements. Scot graduated from Purdue University with a BS Degree in Industrial Engineering.
